various sea shells from Siargao Island
Nicolas has organized his shell collection into a mini museum. Its main features are the cone shell and cowries but the display also showcases terebras, miters, olivas, cowries and vexillum, several of which are world-record sized! Some of these shells were found in and around the islands of Siargao and Dinagat.
The resort offers diving and snorkeling shell expeditions for the serious shell collectors or hunters, and introductory "shelling" for the curious.
For the one's who are not scuba divers we can bring them to sandy beach where they can hunt for shells while snorkeling. The shells that can be found in the sands are mostly olivas, terrebra and mitra.
